For many it could be an almost impossible distance to cover, without considering the more than 2000 meters in altitude. Others give up before they even think about it and hide behind their insecurities. All wrong. This race was born precisely to show even those with low self-esteem that everyone can do it; a minimum of training is enough. On this route, many sports and mountain enthusiasts have tasted a bite of the purest trai running and appreciated it so much that they then launched on longer distances.
Of course this Skyrace is a succulent morsel even for those with great goals and being able to cover it in about three hours can be considered an out of the ordinary performance. Many top athletes have appreciated the indomitable nature of this route, especially for the very intense uphill sections that lead first to the summit of Monte Bar and later to Gazzirola, from where you can sling down the valley towards the finish. If you only have experience on the road or over short distances, this race is for you. Face it with confidence and it will be your springboard to mountain running.
